Skima

Skima is a talent intelligence platform designed for tracking and analyzing team competencies. Built with a local-first architecture, all data stays on the user device via SQLite - no accounts, no cloud, no tracking.

The platform features an executive dashboard with KPIs and gap analysis, a team skills matrix with transposed heatmaps, individual collaborator profiles with sparklines, a weighted evaluation system (level x frequency x criticality), role profiles for expected competencies, and time travel for comparing team state across periods.

Technically, Skima is a full-stack application: React 19 frontend, Express 5 backend, Prisma 6 ORM with SQLite, and Tauri 2 for native desktop packaging across Windows, macOS, and Linux. It ships via three deployment paths: desktop installers, Docker Compose, or from source.

The project maintains 778 tests at 80%+ coverage (696 client-side + 82 server-side), making it one of the most thoroughly tested personal projects in its class. The CI/CD pipeline includes quality gates and automated cross-platform releases.
